Unusual, late Ayutthaya or Early Rattanakosin Period Thailand Buddha head. The bronze has been cast with quite light bronze and the ears are made from copper strips and lacquered over. Late Qing Dynasty “minyao” (household ware) porcelain bowl with a lovely light green celadon glaze and subtle russet treatment to the rim. Very good condition i.e., no cracks or chips. The shopmark inside the footrim is in seal script and is undecipherable. D: 17.5cm/6.9in and H: 6cm/2.5in. The original owners name is stippled in the cavetto as was the custom of the period.
