Ming Dynasty nephrite jade button carved in the shape of chrysanthemum (see enlargement for reference), this was meant to be sewn on to hat or clothing as a brooch, D: 4cm and 7mm thick 28 grams, a few “ant bite” sized tiny chips, but otherwise good condition. Included are two “bi” (perforated discs). The large one is D: 4.7cm and 9mm thick, it appears to have been artificially stressed and is mid 20th century, the smaller one is carved in the Han Dynasty style and may be possibly of this period or a later emulation, possibly reworked during the Qing- D: 3.4cm and 6mm thick. Basically I guarantee the Ming piece to be of the period only and the other two are included because I acquired them as a lot on auction.
